A magnificent antique jewellery set from Khiva ( Khorezem ), in Uzbekistan. Consisting of a triple necklace, temple hanging and earrings. Superb craftsmanship in silver filigreed and partially fire gilded, ornamented with superb pale coral, turquoises, blue glass beads, carnelians and colored glass cabochons. In very good conditions, lightly crushed as usual for these pieces, some small beads missing. Second half of the 19th century, early 20th century. See similar piece in " The Arts and Crafts of Turkestan " by Johannes Kalter, p. 115 and in  " Uzbekistan " by Johannes Kalter and Margarita Pavaloi, p. 292. A MUSEUM PIECE FOR COLLECTORS ! It measure about 50 cm. ( 19.68" ) in width from earring to earring. The temple hanging, including the earrings are 39 cm. ( 15.35" ) height. The medallions measure ca 7.5 cm. by 6 cm. ( 2.95" by 2.36" ), including the dangles and the diameter of the loop of the earrings is 5.4 cm. ( 2.12" ). Weighs 436 grams ( 15.37 Oz ).

A wonderful pair of antique  fire-gilded silver Turkoman bracelets, from the Teke Tribe. In good conditions, with the gold-wash well preserved but worn on the rim ( see pictures ). Beautiful honey color carnelians and very good alloy of silver. Very old pieces, early 20th century, with signs of age and wear. These bracelets can be difficult to fit and they cannot be bent to change their shape : your measurements should be close to the following. The height is 9 cm. ( 3.54" ) and the space at the opening measure 2.9 cm. ( 1.14" ) at one end, 3.3 cm. ( 1.29" ) at the other. The maximum inner circumference ( including the space at the openning ) is approx. 17.2 cm. ( 6.77" ). Weighs 408 grams ( 14.39 Oz ).

A gracious pair of antique silver, glass and coral Uzbek earrings, from Central Asia. Very light design, using old russian silver coins, dated 1912 and 1914, coral and glass stones in the shape of a fish. One earring is decorated with small blue glass beads, at the imiatiton of the coral, missing on the other earring. Complete samples with the dangles like these are very rare. Late 19th, early 20th century. Very good alloy of silver. They measure about 12.5 cm. ( 4.92" ) in height, all included, and the width is 3.6 cm. ( 1.41" ). Weighs 24 grams ( 0.84 Oz ).

A wonderful antique silver Turkoman armlet, from Ersari Tribe, northern Afghanistan. Very nice stamped, engraved and appliqué design and excellent alloy of silver. Early to mid 20th century, in excellent conditions, with great silky patina. See similar sample in " The Arts and Crafts of Turkestan " by Johannes Kalter, p. 104 and in the Ghysel's Collection in " A World of Bracelets ", by Anne van Cutsem, p. 150. A suoerb non-precious metal gilt Turkoman / Turkmen breast ornament " Göndschük  " or House Amulet from Tekke Tribe, Central Asia. In original conditions and complete with all the ethnic decorations, shell-fish, small bells, thimbles and glass beads dangles. Embellished with great color cornelians. The cornelian in the center is engraved. Early to mid 20th century.
